Most things we can pay for.

Some things are a free drop-off.

A couple of things we have to charge for.

And for the things we don't take, we can usually point you in the right direction.

Here's a list of some of what we take. For current pricing, give us a shout at (517) 482-3000.

We process all ferrous and non-ferrous metals for scrap-recycling, meaning both metals that stick to a magnet as well as those that don't.

This includes everything from that broken down washer and dryer in your basement to full vehicles.

We don't take precious metal items, like gold necklaces or sterling silver. So you'll want to take those types of items to a company like Liberty Coin.

We process almost all types of paper for scrap-recycling.

The only types of paper we don't take are items like paper towel, napkins, and tissue.

Plastics are an unforgiving commodity, and we can only accept them if they are clean and rinsed. At this time, we only take #1 PET Clear (e.g. water bottles), #2 HDPE Natural (e.g. milk jugs), #2 HDPE Color (e.g. laundry detergent bottles), and #4 LDPE plastic (e.g. shrink wrap).

We're happy to test samples to see if we can take them, though, so contact us if you need to have one tested!

electronics (e-scrap)

We take most types of electronics.

Some we can pay for and some are a free drop-off.

We do charge for CRT Monitors ($40 ea.) and LCD Monitors ($3 ea.).

We don't take TVs. Check with Best Buy or Goodwill, as they may have a take-back program.
